A majority of organizations manually collect employee data for analysis
Outdated processes have been a result of shifting workplace dynamics, as per a recent Envoy report. The report indicates that almost half (47%) of companies have faced delays in critical business decisions due to complications arising from remote or hybrid work policies.
More than 40% of organizations spend 11+ hours each month generating space utilization reports, with some allocating as much as 40+ hours solely for this task. Sixty percent of workplace leaders manually collect employee attendance data for real estate decisions, showcasing a notable inefficiency in data management.
Even though 76% of companies use badge swipes or Wi-Fi access for attendance data, they lack comprehensive space utilization insights, limiting their ability to optimize workplace layouts effectively. The report states that seventeen percent of organizations have reported over a quarter of their space being either unused or underutilized.
